The Concept of Community Based Rehabilitation:
 Community Based Rehabilitation is a strategy within general community development for rehabilitation, equal opportunities and social inclusion for all persons with disabilities (PWDs) through using community resources, to make a social change at various levels such as Individual, Family, and Community takes place. This approach strengthens the community in supporting the family and PWD to meet the needs of the disabled and empowers the disabled to live as a contributive and participative member of the community.

The Objectives of Community Based Rehabilitation:

* Assuring the active participation of persons with disabilities and giving them equal opportunities in all fields: education, culture, sport, and social.
* Building the capacity of persons with disability to become active members of community and to have a leader role of disability issue.
* To arise the social awareness towards disability issues.
The Programs of Community based Rehabilitation:
1. Training course and educational activities;
<the contents; CBR concept, disabled sports, understanding of desability, Independent Living, How to support children with cerebral palsy, intellectual disability, physical disability, joint hand-craft, sports event etc...>

* Empowerment of PWDs and families; starting the process of getting the confidence and ensuring their participations.
* Capacity building of CBR volunteers and staffs related with disability issue; in order to reach the needs of PWDs, providing the practical information and teaching ideas and basic advice for primary rehabilitation.

* Increasing understanding and knowledge of disability issue to community; creating positive attitudes towards PWDs and sharing knowledge.

2. Home Visit program: is the most important program in the Community Based Rehabilitation Project that aims to strength rapport with persons with disabilities and their families in order to encourage, support and educate them to improve their condition or needs. The result of change, they get self-confidence and participate in the social activities in their own communities. Also, to provide those who are unable to go outside their homes with the suitable services.

3. To assure the right of education for all:
* Improve inclusion in normal school: holding training courses for teachers and students, and introducing the environmental facilities.
* Literacy courses.
* Group study: to give educational opportunities for persons with disabilities who can not get education at normal schools with taking into consideration including non-disabled children in these slasses.

4. Executing pilot trails to promote the inclusive programs by assuring the right of social participation:
* School round activities held by JICA(Japan International Cooperation Agency) volunteer in order to achieve inclusion through making sport activities and educational programs about disability issues for students at school.

5. Referral services: by cooperation with several sectors in order to support disability issues (diagnoses, referring to hospitals, assistance devices, orthopedic equipments, ...) referral service

6. Promoting the role of woman in the communities:
